Yoga Classes for Preschools

Yoga classes for preschools   can be a great way to introduce young children to the benefits of yoga, such as improving flexibility, balance, concentration, and overall well-being Starting next month we are thrilled to announce that Inspire Yoga will be providing  kids yoga classes  exclusive to the students of Eton House. Classes will be held on  Mondays from 3-4pm and 4-5pm, they are unaccompanied for 3 year olds and above. The classes are structured to be fun, social and interactive so that children build a positive association to healthy lifestyle habits from an early age. Keep in mind that preschoolers have limited attention spans and may not be able to engage in extended yoga sessions. Plan activities that are fun, interactive, and suitable for their age group. Keep the yoga sessions short, typically ranging from 10 to 15 minutes, to match their attention spans. You can gradually increase the duration as the children become more comfortable and engaged. ...

Kids Yoga Classes

Our philosophy is based on releasing the stress of performance and achievement but instead to love learning, created well rounded children with a high self confidence. When children have a passion from a young age they will naturally practice more and get better intrinsically, without the need to keep score and create judgment. All our classes are structured in a fun and dynamic way so the kids absorb the new information in a healthy and friendly environment. Our kids yoga program has been adopted in many international schools in HK and we have seen marked improvement in children with difficulties in learning, motor skill control, coordination, and socialization. Kids yoga classes in Hong Kong help promote physical development in children. Through various yoga poses and movements, children improve their flexibility, strength, coordination, and balance. These classes provide a non-competitive space for kids to explore their bodies, enhance their motor skills, and develop a healthy...

Is Workplace Wellbeing Sustainable Employability?

We all want to show up to work as our best, most productive, energetic, collaborative selves- but how is that done? We can be incentivized to demonstrate these behaviors thought compensation schemes and recognition in the workplace, but does this work as a motivation in the long run? Even still, if it’s coming from an outside source, extrinsic motivation, it takes us effort to change and show up how we are expected to, that means it never becomes an intrinsic motivation which becomes tiring, we are constantly feeling like we can’t be ourselves, we have to operate within a set of parameters instructed by the organization, soon we feel stifled, it’s exhausting trying to be someone else, or act in a particular way all the time, thus we find ourselves showing up irritated, despondent, stressed and burned out, not achieving the results we set out for nor being the person we envisioned. Does this sound familiar? Two-thirds of full-time employees say they have experienced burnout at some poin...

Stress Management Program

Stress is embedded into our lifestyles, even children nowadays suffer from stress and anxiety. We have seen radical shifts from the global pandemic, with widespread fear and uncertainty people were worried for their lives, and the safety of their loved ones, they also felt threatened by others. In Hong Kong, we were the last city in the world to drop the mask mandate and social distancing measures, yet you still see many wearing their masks as a choice to protect themselves, many feel exposed and anxious without it and a sense of social awkwardness being put into group gatherings again after 3 years. Our  stress management programs  help our clients feel safe and comfortable again, especially in a changing and highly unpredictable world. The workshops provide a space to feel quiet within and to stop the constant mental chatter. When we are able to feel at peace within we are more willing to connect deeply with others, the program has both these factors intertwined, pers...

Tips To Manage Stress

Living amidst the fast-pace of Hong Kong, the build up of stress is inevitable, its not about eliminating it altogether because stress acts as a motivator and powers action but when we are on a constant overdrive the results are far from empowering. Hypertension, chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety, constipation and fatigue are the most common effects of our high stress lifestyles. Ever wonder why there are so many different styles of yoga? It’s because there are so many different ways we deal with stress. Running for half an hour can be highly stressful for some and yet highly therapeutic for others. Often we ‘zone out’ to unwind, get lost in a book or a movie or on Facebook. Yoga teaches us to consciously relax, to understand what we need and how we react to stress. Some of us feel a pent up of energy, in this case a power class will help vent all that stored energy. In other cases we feel so depleted of energy that a more soothing approach will help restore the energy. In both cas...

Out of control? How to bring more trusting mechanisms in workplaces

Have you been in a situation where you feel someone is hovering over your every move and it’s your actions don’t align exactly to how they want it’s just not good enough. Maybe you’ve encountered this in the workplace, maybe at home, maybe you are the one feeling stifled, maybe you are the one hovering. In all cases, it’s safe to say that this dynamic of power and control is commonplace. Without a good management system, up to 52% of the time is wasted on futile ‘approval-seeking’ tasks. Why is it that we witness so much controlling behavior in relationships? Often it’s due to perfectionism when there is a picture of what ‘right’ looks like, and anything that even strays slightly from that picture becomes wrong and unacceptable. We are taught in school that there is only one right answer, we are groomed to seek perfection, as we mature we come to realize there are many ways of doing the same thing and in fact divergent views brings about great solutions and creativity. But how we...
